The lovely Aneela at Comfort Stitching is hosting our HHQAL. We have a flickr group here where all the wonderful photos will be going and I just have to work out how to get a widgety thing on the sidebar here so that you can see all who are participating. It is very exciting and we are so thankful to Aneela and Ruth Eglington for organising templates and information. They are two fabulous women!

for blog

Step One is to choose various fabrics. Aneela said it is best with this method to not use too large a print and she said to choose at least ten different prints. The full instructions are here on her blog, do check it out …she is such a cutie patootie as they say.

Step Two is to wash them, good job I did as a few of mine ran onto the paler blues. I am using some of  my dear friend Sally’s Liberty of London fabric samples which she sent me last year….this is perfect for them.

Be back soon with Part Two

  1. I have had problems with colors running also.
I just visited Aneela’s blog, very nice. Her stuff is really pretty.

Quilt-A-Longs are really neat. It’s on my to-do list to participate in one someday. :)

    Have a lovely day!
