Almost finished my toddler quilt using scraps from other projects and the dragonfly material that my friend gave me last year. I am quilting in circles with a gorgeous perle thread which I bought from Spotlight last year. Must get this finished as am about to start the hexagon quiltalong with Aneela of Comfort Stitching fame, although that is actually hexagons 2009 style…by machine….yeah so I can still work on this when not on the dreaded machine. Yes my Janome is finally on its last legs…the tension has been playing up for some time and its actually cheaper to get a new one than to pay for servicing…..madness I know.
Not long now until my 200th post…keep watching this space!

Wow, that’s looking fabulous. I love Laurel Burch fabrics. I made some sweet little bags with her Mermaids and Ocean fabrics. The colours are so vibrant.
Mandy I do like this toddler quilt with the dragonflies and the horses, it is turning out even better than I had hoped. I like your latest bags on your blog as well
