The world of fleece backed baby’s quilts anyway!! Rhiannon is an easy to make quilt for a baby or toddler
which is achievable for arthritics and people with nerve damage.
Above is the lilac fleece peeking out, this was found as new in a charity shop while the panel was bought from Spotlight.
Quite enjoyable to do although it creases more than quilts with wadding added so be aware of that if you are sending it as a gift to anyone…best not to roll it up as I did above..add tissue and fold it into a box would be best. I will be posting a tutorial in a few days.

Sorry…I couldn’t resist
Good Morning Kathleen!
Another lovely baby’s quilt. The fabric is sooo sweet I’ve not seen one like that before and so nice that you give it a personal, hand made touch too. Just darling.
It was so nice to have you visit. It is still snowing at my mother’s place..yikes! I feel badly for her about that because she still struggles having to shovel it. She needs to have someone close to do that for her but there just doesn’t seem to be that help. I’m looking into what I can do about that. Its too far for me unfortunately to help out. We are having nice blue skies and no more snow falling so thats good. Otherwise I would gladly send you some.
I hope you are having a great day over there.
See you soon.
have a nice day

@Marla
I love that song but had no idea of the title until I asked my son what you meant!!!! You know I should change it as this just is not befitting the story of the original Rhiannon…I am trying to use Celtic fairy names as I love that type of thing and they are a little different but that name should have been for a fairy quilt!!! I will fix it uop when I do a fairy quilt…have two on the go at present.
@Judy
I can’t believe your mum shovels the snow…or has until now. I would be snowed in if I had to do it…that is tricky…pity there are no neighbourhood teenagers around who want some pocket money.
this quilt panel was interesting as it was preprinted with stitching lines for people who do not want to bother I guess so as i followed it closely that would be my neatest stitching ever!!!
