These gorgeous buttons were made today by moi and they are gigantic ..almost five centimetres across and made with Osborne and Little upholstery scraps. These buttons were upcycled from fabric which would have otherwise been thrown away. Think how wonderful they would look on a winter coat or jacket or as part of a brooch..the ideas are limitless!

The buttons are really pretty Kathleen. A large size like that I could see on a bag….or a jacket….oh so many places.
hope you’ve had a nice day.
I wanted to say that I think you received a couple/few b’day cards from me. I was having such a time trying to send one. The one just seemed to sit there and I had to wait and wait and so I tried again…and then changed sites and hoped you had received the third one. My return emails showed you received 2 of them anyway. I wanted to let you know what happened.
Better to get 2 from one person than none right?
Judi
Hi Judi thanks so much for the birthday cards …. I finally got around to answering my comments yesterday……still have to play the Led Zeppelin …my computer does not like the Apple software that plays it…shut me down last time I tried!!
Buttons can make an outfit – especially if they are different, or special, or unusual. Sometimes I buy items of clothing from charity shops JUST for the unusual buttons (usually older people’s clothing that is from the 20th Century). Then I carefully remove the buttons and put them on my own clothes for a spectacular effect. Then of course I recycle the outfit that is buttonless.
This is a link to a beautiful thrift bag I bought last Christmas for just £4.

They’re lovely buttons, and a great size to feature somewhere special.
Don’t know quite what’s going on with my bloglines. It tells me I’m subscribed, but doesn’t let me know when you update….
