Sparkly Thursday

Sparkles

This week has flown past, thank you everyone who sent me birthday wishes. I also made my first sale in my shop in this my first week as well. I am so pleased as there are so many people selling now on etsy that it is quite possible not to make a dent in the surface! In case you are wondering I sold supplies of wool to Eunice who has an etsy store where she creates gorgeous crocheted and knitted items.

I popped out to the charity shop to drop off some clothes and things and while there found some more wool.

Silken yarn...yum

I am also collecting silk ties for upcycling and  this designer tie was only two dollars…what a bargain! The little hand made box is delightful and a perfect size to hold my 25th anniversary jewellery set!

Cuties

While there I checked out the fabric and vintage linens section and was pleased to see that they are no longer throwing away some of the smaller and slightly damaged items….remember back in February when I had the run in with them about throwing away donations? Here is a closer look at that glorious butterfly…..

I also found two metres of Xmas fabric with teddies…very useful at this time of year.

As I was paying I spotted a gorgeous evening bag…that is it above…..isn’t it stunning?

Happy birthday! I am just finally getting around to looking online. Getting ready all week for Leura Village Fair this weekend, which takes me so much longer as I get bigger and bigger with the pregnancy.

I can’t believe the great stuff you get. What is your etsy shop’s name? I will have to check it out.

Better go… got a friend showing up who is also doing Leura - she does childrens wear in Liberty prints. Amazing hand detail - http://www.missbeba.com.

    Have a lovely weekend!

That sounds like a wonderful few finds in the charity shop - there’s nothing like a bargain to make my day!

Many happy returns. Sorry I missed your birthday - I was wondering what happened to you, for some reason my reader hasn’t picked up your updates. Grrrrr..

As for the Amazon thing, have you tried bookdepository.co.uk? They have free shipping, too. :o)
