Hi Kathleen
Isn't that something that you found that bowl right around your silver anniversary? And you received the first one before it all started...thats so special. Its beautiful...I love butterflies.

The flowers are pretty. Carnations are so special because they last so long...they are beautiful and so hardy. Just remember to keep changing their water.... how lovely that your inlaws remembered you.

I was reading about your long time school friend too. Isn't that something that she was able to find you after all this time? She is so far from you....I hope you will be able to keep in touch by computer and share the years since you last saw each other.

Have a lovely evening...ohhhh...your knitting continues sooo beautifully. The wool colours are so pretty.....you are doing such a beautiful job...

<strong><em>comment from Carol at http://pananani.wordpress.com/ who is having some trouble commenting

Kathleen - I tried posting this comment but couldn't - here it is:

Many years ago - (25 or 30) I chose my china pattern here in Panama. David and I have been married 40 years but we never had a china pattern. I had a hard time deciding between Portmerion and Villerory and Boch's Botanica - I finally chose Botanica - but it has now been discontinued - wish I had chosen Portmerion - it is so beautiful.
