Dearest Magicquilter
You know, I am a low-laying blogger/flickrer. To be honest I have no idea how to be as popular as you or a couple of bloggers I know.

But you are so kind and generous that through you I have met some lovely people. You always read my blog and leave nice comments I just want to send you much love and hugs for all your goodness.

Also, I thought you might be interested in something I have done (The reason I haven't created any work recently is cause I have been decorating my studio- all white - looks almost weird). And I have a theatre company as well as my dress making business...and I cleared my stock room...found loads and loads of material left over from umpteen shows, decided I need all my stuff in my studio...the problem was...where was I going to put them?

So I took a simple bookshelf which was tall, slept it on the floor and placed all the materials and bits and pieces in the now big holes/compartments...then covered the whole thing with a piece of pine wood tucked a white quilt on and put loads of cushions on.
I am soooooo pleased with it.

Still painting the goddamn ceiling...unlike you, this side of the world is experiencing a scorching summer (so humid and hot...thunderstorms almost every night) so being stuck to the ceiling is the hottest place I can be.

And yes my both cats and me have often been called eccentric...if there is a title, I wouldn't mind being an eccentric.

Muwah and hugs

Happy Blogiversary, Kathleen! : )
I'm so glad I stumbled upon your Blog...I don't remember how!!! LOL but it has been such fun having you for a friend. : )

I think of you as family...and always enjoy seeing what you've been up to, both in your shopping trips and your lovely quilt making! : )

Hugs to you, and I hope the next year will be even better!!! Sunnie : )

Thanks sunnie...I do so love watching your progress and loved seeing your wonderful winter wonderland scenes around the time we first met, you do not have to look far for inspiration. Actually I need to interview you for my artisan series....more people must see your talent! And you know you have inspired me to want to start....once I have knitted a few more afghans I should be ready for the challenge of learning a new skill.

You know, technically it's still yesterday in some parts of the world, so you didn't forget! You just remembered a little late in the day. :) Congratulations on the anniversary. It's a wonderful achievement and you have a blog to be proud of.

I'm glad to have helped get you started but Muse is right, you learned very quickly! It's often the simple things that are the hardest because they seem daunting at first but once you got the hang of them, you improved immeasurably. I think the next step with your store will be a big help as well; it should help to inspire you even more.

You've had an eventful year online; from your first comments to your experiences on Flickr... and you've made some wonderful relationships too! That's what's so amazing about the blogosphere, the people you meet and the lives you share in. It's like nothing else.

It's been a lot of fun watching your blog evolve and I look forward to seeing the new directions you take it in. I'm sure the next year will be even better than the last. ;)

Thanks oh Lionheart for making all this possible. I have learned the most from watching how you dealt with things online and also, as the student of a gifted teacher I have been enabled to mostly teach myself....although I still have my moments!

I know absolutely nothing about quilting...or sewing. When the hem came out of my skirt, right before doing a teleconference...I was tempted to panic...then I did what I knew to do. I stapled it!! So there I was looking all professional, but the hem of my skirt was stapled.

Congratulations on your Bloggiversary! I trust you have many more years of happy blogging...helping to educate some of the rest of us.

Kindest Regards,

Michelle

Thanks so much Michelle....pity you did not have that tape that holds hems up in the office. Some people have those titsy little sewing machines which they keep in the drawer but you have to know how to thread the thing!!! Am looking forward to reading your blog... I see you have recently started.
