I had a fabric inspiration today which isn't unusual for me...stopped in the middle of a project and started something else with just a glance into my stash. it was a fabric that had been there forever and today i knew what it was going to be. Just returned from a trip to new york city...i was on inspiration overload from walking the city, seeing the architecture, feeling the energy of the people, visiting museums, restaurants, theater...for me inspiration is everywhere if i take the time to recognize it.

I know what you mean about starting something else but I am presently photographing and shaming myself with all my wips so cannot start another thing unless its something I can finish in a week or so! I saw your post about New York and can imagine...sensory overload!!! It is taking the time to recognise it ....maybe that is also something about being older..we do not get as distracted by things now.
