Working towards having a selection of smaller articles for my shop and for the new local artisan gallery. Have completed half of the smaller items and already am more than halfway through a few quilts. It was fun and inspired me to tidy up my work area a bit and actually used up a huge pile of fabrics which has to be good. Oh by the way I am merrily uploading all these photos myself now! And they are fully optimized as well. Now that I am confident that I have not pushed these skills out of my brain by learning new ones I have been creating a gallery of quilts and also wips here on the blog…they are up the top under my header in case you missed them. [As well as a book list which is going to take a while to compile]

That is going to be VERY pretty. I love the colours. I see in the picture you have one of those SideWinders for threading bobbins! How do you like it? When will you open your shop…I haven’t missed that have I?
The sidewinder is great but it does not solve the problem of unthreading as if you need that colour you need to take it off the machine to use the side winder. So I shall buy two of all my threads and then it will be perfect. My Janome bobbin winder developed a loud clanging after it was serviced last year…really annoying so this is almost soundless…just a gentle humming!!!!
The bags are coming along well…have lined some with silk dupioni and they look quite upmarket! The shop will be soon…just have to fix my debit card and finish off a few more small quilts. I will let you know Judi as I shall be picking your brain…don’t worry!
Love, love, love that yellow.
I you have a tidy workspace I will be extremely envious. LOL
Isn’t it gorgeous? I got a whole lot of voile remnants at Lincraft last September and bought that in three colourways. I have lined them in silk and they make lovely tote bags…little bit upmarket!
