I love the pink and purple handbag in the first picture. When my children are a wee bit older, I plan to do some thrifting for collectibles. Right now they would just get broken from a flying football or something :)

Thanks Angie it is really cute and being patchwork just our thing! Our cat did more damage to our delicate collectables than any of the many children who used to play with my son when he was little. He is an only child though so you are quite wise I think. I love my glass fronted cabinet but you couldn't risk that either unless it had lower wooden doors. I am going to look out for a cute patchwork style bag for you..it might take a while ..and then I will probably find five at once!

I love the handbags! I love to see patterns and yet I never seem to buy patterns for myself. It's so rare. It's not like I avoid color, I just tend to be attracted to things of solid color nature. And don't you worry about a thing with your picture. You look wonderful and stylish. Being photogenic isn't easy.. but the key is taking lots of pictures and then picking the best one. That's what I do.

And as for silz mentioning earlier about giving things away, it'd be like me.. where I have giveaway contests in helping name my stuffed animals. It's silly but it helps boost the morale. Worst part would be footing shipping, which can get pricey when you go International. But, it's worth it! The people who visit your blogs do turn into wonderful friends. You learn so much about them.

Hi BSW...Thanks and it is so good to have you back....glad you had some time with family but no internet access is a hard one with our lifesyles. The Sulz giving away stuff is actually me as am answering comments within the comment now as do not want to inflate my stats...I am really into stats now so want to have an accurate reading...only thing is everyone has to check back I think to see the reply..thus giving me another hit on my stats and not on my comments. Whoa this is too much I haven't had enough coffee yet. About the photo ...that was my best one....sobs quietly to herself.

Kathleen, I'm so glad you love your bag and thank you for sending people over to my site. Sorry to hear about the banning thing, that's so odd. It's a good thing that there are other groups out there that are more welcoming. Love the picture of you, you look so vibrant and full of life.

Hi Janey....as opposed to dead and zombie like you mean. Did you see the other photos? Absolutely gross!!! It is frightening when the person you see in the photo is someone you do not know! I have been using my bag almost constantly Janey, except for the other day when we went shopping to the other Westfield in our area...10 minutes away as opposed to 5 minutes for the movie star one when I took my little embroidered silk one from thrift thurs a few weeks ago. Now that is a small looking bag but it fit heaps in. And not too heavy to carry unlike some leather ones I have.

Love your new handbag, and nice to put a face to you! I hate pictures of myself too. Sorry about your flickr pool. That's one of the reasons I like to play by myself! lol

Hi Ruth....I really love it and now realise I do not need the huge bags I usually end up with. I can fit everything in it and it keeps its shape, my larger bags were dipping a lot at the top as they were so huge. Yes I should have listened to my instincts about that group, I can "still look at the pools photos but cannot participate in the groups discussions" so it makes it hard to find out what I did "wrong". About the photo thing hooray for digital cameras as it makes it easier to delete those hideous shots that we used to have to pay for when we got our photos developed. Fancy paying for something that makes you look like a zombie!
